Indication: Treatment of topical infections caused by, or associated with, organisms sensitive to oxytetracycline hydrochloride and gentian violet in all species except fibre-producing animals. Treatment of cuts and wounds.

Description: A clear, bright purple solution with a wood alcohol odour, containing 25mg/mL oxytetracycline hydrochloride and 2mg/mL gentian violet.

Mode of action: Oxytetracycline hydrochloride is a very stable bacteriostatic broad spectrum antibiotic that interferes with the protein synthesis of Gram-ve and Gram+ve bacteria, Rickettsia, Chlamydia, some species of Mycoplasma and protozoa. This ingredient is also useful to identify the areas treated.

Directions for use: For topical use only. Shake before use. Remove any dead tissue, dried serum or secretions and debris from infection site. Hold pump pack upright approximately 8-15cm from the surface and cover affected areas completely once or twice daily for 3-5 days. Each separatepump spray will cover an area of 6cm in diameter.
