COMPOSITION: Each 1 ml. contains:
               Florfenicol                            300 mg

PROPERTIES:
AVIFOLR is an efficient synthetic antibiotic For Intramuscular and Subcutaneous Use in Cattle Only. Avifolr  Injectable Solution is indicated for the control and treatment of bacterial pneumonia and associated respiratory infections BRD (bovine respiratory disease) also called shipping fever or transit fever in cattle caused by susceptible P. multocida, P. haemolytica, and H. somnus.

INDICATIONS:
AVIFOLR is indicted also for the treatment of Infectious Pododermatitis (foot Rot) in cattle or interdigital phlegmon (acute interdigital necrobacillosis) associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum and Bacteroides melaninogenicus.

DOSES AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION:   
– For treatment of Bovine Respiratory Disease and Foot Rot:
  a. Two Injections Regimen: AVIFOLR is administered by IM to cattle (IN THE NECK) at a dose rate of 20 mg/kg (3 ml/45 kgs) body weight. 48 hours later a second dose is administered.
  b. One Injections Regimen: AVIFOLR is given by a single subcutaneous injection to cattle (IN THE NECK) at a dose rate of 40 mg/kg (6 ml/45 kg)  body weight.
– For Control of Bovine Respiratory Disease:
  Avifolr is given by a single subcutaneous injection to cattle (in the neck) at a dose rate of 40 mg/kg (6 ml/45 kg) body weight.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD:
– Cattle must not be slaughtered within 28 days of the last intramuscular treatment.
– Cattle must not be slaughtered within 38 days of the last subcutaneous treatment.
– Not for use in veal calves or female dairy cattle older than 20 months of age.

STORAGE:
Store at a temperature below 30 C.
Store in a dark place.

PACKAGE:
300 mg/ml injectable in 50 and 100 ml amber glass bottles.
